OK, a bit of a plug, but I thought some of you might like to know… I host with Dreamhost, and they offer a great deal.

For the geek… PHP, MySQL, Perl, Subversion, Quicktime streaming, Flash video encoder and player, Jabber server, unlimited email accounts, FTP and shell accounts, custom DNS, webDAV, Ruby on Rails, one-click install of MediaWiki, phpBB and so much more.

Oh and did I mention 500GB of disk space?! No misprint. And how about 5TB of bandwidth?!

It only costs $7.95 a month, which is a bargain considering what you get. But more to the point, you can get $50 OFF!! Just use the promotional code ROWAN to get your discount.

And yeah, I get something back too… I get $40 off my next renewal, so you’d be doing me a favour. But most of all you’d be doing you a favour – I wouldn’t recommend them if I wasn’t happy with them! Enjoy.

Sign up here, and don’t forget to use the promo code ROWAN!
